My Bio
Hey, I'm Daniel but I'm know to almost everyone as Dan Soup, a name I picked up when I was around 13 and has stuck with me ever since. I'm now 21 and I'm doing a degree in mathematics in university. I originally joined dA when I was about 16 but was barely active but I recently decided to get back into it in order to become more creative again. The kinds of artwork I currently have are:
Pixel Edits: Technically these are photomanipulations where I take a photograph and pixel it up by hand. Takes a fair bit of time and patience but I think it's worth it for the end results.
Mathematical Art: Something I got into after my cellular automata module at university. I use Microsoft Excel with various equations and algorithms to make the artwork you see.
Photography: I love taking photos and looking back through them afterwards. I take a LOT of photos but I'm by no means I photographer. Some of my better photos end up on here.
Photomanipulation: Something I play with occasionally, either as a laugh or to try and make the photo look better.
Pixel Art: I used to be very into pixel art but then I think it was around the point I entered The Dark Years of my life and didn't go far with it. Something I'd like to pick up again.
Literature: I only really have one thing up at the moment but literature is something I'd like to try my hand at at some point in the future.

So, I've just come back for the first time in a couple of months and I have 2,337 notifications to work through, should be fun.
As you can imagine, university life is going to be getting pretty busy for the next couple of months so won't have much time to dedicate to dA but thought I'd come back and post some stuff while I still have a chance to breath.

The Non-Submission Guilt

I felt guilty that I hadn't put anything up in a few days so I got started on one of my mathematical works that I am presenting to you today. I also made an animated version so you can get an idea of how it goes from a sea of black and white to something that sort of resembles... something... or something...
Sorry, my mind's on other things (mainly the baked potatoes that are waiting for me in the oven). I've been staying in mostly over the last week since the snow upsets me. Tomorrow I might be doing some walking and/or going out clubbing but I have work that needs doing and we need to clean the kitchen for a house viewing. So much conflict
